By accessing Scory ("the Service"), a web application operated by an independent developer, you agree to these terms.
Scory is a reflection assistant, not an answer generator. You are responsible for ensuring that any insights used in your Internal Assessments (IA) or Extended Essays (EE) comply with your school's IB Academic Honesty Policy. Scory shall not be held liable for academic penalties resulting from misuse.
The "Grade Market" feature is a fictional gamification layer designed to visualize academic trends. All portfolio values, stock prices, and leverage multipliers are simulated and hold no real-world monetary value. Scory is not a financial advisor nor a trading platform. "Profits" displayed in the Grade Market do not entitle you to any cash, prizes, or cryptocurrency.
Subscriptions are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited ("Paddle"), our Merchant of Record. By subscribing, you agree to Paddle's Terms of Service. Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled. You may cancel at any time from Settings.
Scory is provided "AS IS" as a student-led project under active development. We do not guarantee that AI-generated insights will improve your IB score or that the website will be free of bugs. You are encouraged to keep personal copies of important reflections and diary entries.
You agree not to: • Attempt to bypass the subscription verification system. • Use the platform to generate hateful, illegal, or IB-violating content. • Reverse engineer or scrape the Scory AI analysis engine.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access without prior notice if you violate these Terms. No refund will be provided for accounts terminated due to breach of conduct.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Scory and its developer(s) shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of study time, lower than expected IB grades, or emotional distress related to academic performance.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Scory after changes constitutes acceptance.
These Terms were originally drafted in English. In the event of any conflict between the English version and any translated version, the English version shall prevail.
